For many of our members, this is their very first experience using AI.

The good news? Prompting ALI is simple—and you’re 100% capable of mastering it. Think of ALI as your friendly, style-savvy bestie who’s always ready to listen. You don’t need to use special commands or techy jargon. Just type what you’d say to a real person, and she’ll do the rest.

A quick reminder: ALI is still in beta testing mode, which means she’s learning and improving every day. If she doesn’t nail your request on the first try, don’t worry—just tweak your prompt and see what she comes up with next. Use the thumbs up/down buttons after each response to tell her what you loved—or what missed the mark. Every bit of feedback helps her improve. Your feedback during this beta phase is helping us make her even better!

What’s a Prompt?

A “prompt” is just a fancy word for the question or request you type into ALI’s chat box. Your prompt tells ALI how you want to adjust or customize your Outfit Formula of the Day. The clearer you are, the better ALI can work her magic.

At Outfit Formulas, our mission is simple: to make getting dressed easier, more joyful, and more sustainable—every single day. That’s why we’re constantly working behind the scenes to improve the app and create a better experience for our members.

Since launching the Outfit Formulas app, the response has blown us away. Thousands of women have joined our community, downloaded the app, and started building wardrobes that work for them—not the other way around. From heartfelt DMs to glowing app store reviews, we’ve been overwhelmed with your kindness and encouragement.

But what’s been even more valuable? Your feedback. We’ve heard your ideas, requests, and insights—and we’re listening.

Today, we’re excited to announce that the first round of V2 updates is officially live in the app, starting with a refreshed Profile section designed to be cleaner, more customizable, and easier to navigate.

🔧 Here’s What’s New in Your Profile

We know the Profile section is where your journey begins. It should feel intuitive, functional, and—most importantly—yours. So we made a few smart updates based on your feedback and took care of some housekeeping clean up for a better user experience:

  • ✅ Cleaned-Up Biography Section
    We removed outdated or unused fields, keeping only what matters most to your experience.
  • ✅ Simplified Settings
    “Change Password” is now located in the Settings menu—exactly where you’d expect to find it.
  • ✅ Profile Photo Customization
    You can now zoom in, zoom out, move your image, or delete your profile picture entirely. Because every detail should feel like you.
  • 👀 Coming Soon: My Outfits
    We’ve added a teaser for our upcoming My Outfits feature! Soon, you’ll be able to upload photos of how you styled your daily Outfit Formulas and save them to your own personal lookbook. It’s a space to reflect your unique style and revisit your favorite outfits anytime.

Even though “My Outfits” isn’t live just yet, you’ll already see it hinted at in your profile. Consider this your sneak peek. 😉
